Dharmic Crowd Funding – the world’s first dedicated funding platform solely focussed on furthering the cause of Dharma – has been created for that very purpose.

However, Dharmic Crowd Funding is itself funded and run by a volunteer team of CXOs, who in turn support a team of paid support staff, with regular overheads and expenses.

More About Dharmic Crowd Funding

Some of the world’s most respected individuals, organisations & start-ups dedicated to the service of Dharma are funded via Dharmic Crowd Funding. These include prominent scholars, gurus, media start-ups, human rights bodies, legal collectives, and more.

Dharmic Crowd Funding started as a private investment initiative by a sole investor in 2009. That year, our first investor funded & launched a pioneering, not-for-profit Indic start-up, which became an overnight success. All projects must be focussed on serving humanity through Dharmic principles, whether commercial or not-for-profit. Why Dharmic ? Why Dharma ?

After 1000 years of colonialism and relentless desecration, Bharat and Sanatana Dharma are finally re-emerging again. That re-emergence is of course being resisted by the very forces which have broken Bharat during that past millennium. It is therefore crucial, at this time more than ever, to generously empower competent, capable and change-making Indic initiatives which further strengthen the Indic renaissance.

In a broader sense, it is also important to better understand what Dharma actually means. The Sanskrit term Dharma has no synonym in the English language, but broadly means ‘that which is true’. The truth, in turn, is not just related to the pursuit of Satya, but also an acceptance of the way nature is and was always intended to be. 

In the context of the above, our goal at Dharmic Crowd Funding is to empower competent, well-intentioned and dedicated individuals and organisations to succeed in their goals to support and secure the future of Bharat, Sanatana Dharma and, by extension, humanity.

We live in a world in which individual gain, personal goals and communal focus often take precedence over seva (service for the greater good). The timeless Sanatani principle of seva – of putting humanity before self – is therefore at the heart of Dharmic Crowd Funding. We help those who wish to pursue non-profit causes or for-profit business ideas alike, which are directly premised on seva, and the revitalisation of Bharat’s timeless Dharmic ethos.

Bharat (India), the core of which is Sanatan Dharma, is the last surviving major civilisation in the world. The rest have been ingested or destroyed in toto. Having endured 1000 years of colonialism and relentless desecration, Bharat is now finally re-emerging at home and globally. It is a culture which embraces all paths, respects all living beings, believes in grassroots empowerment and therefore, naturally, existentially threatens those who seek to divide, conquer and control.

Bharat’s re-emergence is therefore being challenged by the very forces which have tried to (unsuccessfully) extinguish her light during that past millennium.
